Jorge Perez Evelyn in Venezuela

Joaquin Riviera, a Cuban television producer, especially traveled to Argentina to get Jorge Perez Evelyn for his next musical production in Caracas. Jorge, upset with the political situation in Argentina and the menaces received, didn't doubt in to accept the contract for 3 months but given the great success Evelyn continue for a full year.

As soon as Jorge arrived to Caracas later in March of 1976, he was the center of the press and general media of the country. Suddenly he was the cover of all Venezuelan magazines and newspapers and his fame grown overnight! There was not a day that Evelyn could walk in the street without being approached by fans!

Venezuela opened wide their arms to Jorge Perez Evelyn. He forever loves that country as his own.

"Varieties a lo Riviera" another musical revue production in "El Golpe", produced by Joaquin Riviera. Jorge Perez Evelyn lasted starring in Caracas for two consecutive seasons.

 Jorge Perez Evelyn musical was very successful and soon, Jorge Perez Evelyn become the center of attention of the Venezuelan press. Soon he was in the cover of all magazines and newspapers.
