Teatro Sans Souci en Buenos Aires

Hubo un tiempo en que la Avenida Corrientes brillaba de una manera diferente. Entre marquesinas, orquestas, humoristas, bailarines y figuras que hoy forman parte de la memoria cultural argentina, existió un escenario que durante décadas acompañó la transformación de la noche porteña: el Teatro Sans Souci. Aunque el edificio ya no forma parte del paisaje actual de Buenos Aires, su historia permanece dispersa en recuerdos, fotografías, programas teatrales y testimonios de quienes vivieron aquella época. Con el propósito de rescatar esa memoria, he reunido una investigación dedicada a reconstruir la trayectoria de este espacio emblemático, desde sus años vinculados al tango hasta su etapa dentro del circuito del teatro de revista de la Avenida Corrientes. This video summarizes the traveling around the world the most famous transvestite in Argentina: JORGE PEREZ EVELYN, who was suddenly forced into exile when he was in the limelight of his fame performing on Corrientes street next to the most important stars of his country. 
After receiving a note
of threat that he found when he returned from his performance, it read "what would be next". It was left on the dresser in her dressing room, at the same moment and without hesitation Evelyn put on her pants, her jacket and left the theater without saying a word to anyone. 
Evelyn finally left the country just a few hours before all flights at Ezeiza airport came to a standstill as a result of the military takeover of the country. It was called "the darkest times of Argentina".

Is an uncompleted movie title that was supposed to be named “My girlfriend the travesty”… Because it was made during the military “dirty war” times, it was strictly edited as an imposition of the military censor. The producers did not have any other choice than to follow the rules enforced by the inflexible military government and the strong influencing cleric that did not accepted anything different from what they considered to be outside society standards.
